Odia poetry by Madhab chandra Jena from Jajpur,Odisha,India

English poetry by Sushil kumar from Koraput,Odisha

 Innings

When the rain

pitter-patters

on my window,

ruffling my hair,

you make me

muse on

your gorgeous eyes.

Purloining

the redness

of your lips,

I dive

And

I dive into

the city of bliss.

Schmoozing

with you there,

I return

And

the rain subsides

to declare

the end of innings.

English poetry by Josephine Grace S. Baliling Kampong Cham, Cambodia

Tulips

The bud was plucked before the flower bloomed

Life is a pattern that was taken from the loom

The more that flame is covered up, the hotter it burns

For I is on fire

Yet I have found nowhere to leave my misery

I am a lady who speaks to you, but horns are on my head

Look for no ending to this agony

For you have tasted my body

Thunder with breath of flame

Thy will fall from shame

English poetry by Josephine Grace S. Baliling Kampong Cham, Cambodia

Tombstone

A dew of death, sweet to me as heaven’s raindrops

As the wave of the ocean claps

Floating away from the rocky hill

Reaching out for wounds to heal

Down until I lay upon a grassy meadow

Where I can see your shadow

We waded through the shallow

Path we take is so narrow
