English Poetry by Madhab Chandra Jena

The city of War
The city is full of false choreographers.

The kerosene lamps, hungers

and the choppers.

War for existence everywhere.

Nobody bothers for the bloodbath.

You cannot fight with the pen.

Don’t you know?

Pen is painful and the bullet is painless.

Let’s fight with each other and die forever.

Lets end the war lets end the war.

Ghosts
Go away ghosts go away
this is not the city you want
make a trap elsewhere.
The children have no blood
they don't fear
so go elsewhere.

Tigers
Tigers are roaming here and there
Don’t put them into the cage.
Let them to roam
Tigers are made for the jungles
Not for the cage.
